RHI Golf builds driving range targets that are easy to move, fun to hit and look great on your range. We started making these wine barrel targets for 1 course 2 years ago and then it just caught on to other courses.

We’ve expanded our wine barrel product line to ball baskets, and tee holders. The ball baskets are easy to tilt towards you and scoop the balls out with your club. This is a creative alternative to the applecrates..

Next, we have to share the Pebble Beach tee markers done in natural rust with their logo stood off & Visalia’s lollipop tee markers.

We use to just make starter’s cases, but then we were asked to make the open tray. Here we go with Blackhawk CC in TX. What other company will design a new product line just for you?!

Rock Creek Cattle Company’s TROPHY PROJECTS:

The first 4 photos are for their Greens & Streams tournament.

We also did their Lariet Invitational trophies and a shootout trophy for a private event at their course.

It was fun doing the Raw Bar trophies for LedgeRock with the tuna and oyster.

For The Tuxedo Club’s Oak Leaf tournament, we made oak tree trophies out of steel rounds, so that the winners really have something substantial to grip. For their Folds of Honor event, we used the logo for the shape of the base.

Lastly, we have to share Victory Ranch’s Ladies Invitational trophies and Old Hawthorne’s Matchplay trophy.

Golf Driving Range Equipment & Range Accessories

We have a few driving range projects that we’ve been working on, & want to share. Range accessories are an RHI specialty.

VICTORY RANCH PROJECT

Victory Ranch has a consistent and clean look for their range with matching bag stands, range dividers, and amenities tray for their range cart (cart not pictured). We also made 20 Gal. trash can enclosures with the same coloring and logo style.

TRINITY FOREST PROJECT

This is a new course in Dallas, Texas that has a modern look. We’re often asked for rustic like the Victory Ranch order, but then we get requests that are opposite.

We make insulated coolers and cooler boxes at various sizes. This Keystone Ranch cooler box is our largest; 120 qt.

For Manchester (NH), we made a custom range box that a spot for their divot bottles, and a small shoe cleaning station.

The Course Wente Vineyards is ready for their bag stands and range dividers. These are going to look amazing on their range.

Here’s also the range divider that we did for Entrada and the Sand & Seed Rack for Turning Stone.

We did several hanging signs for Lakewood CC of Dallas, Texas. Here’s one of them.

A few courses have asked for easels that they use as leader boards with a plasma tv. These are also used to display signs/promo signs.

These are the tee markers that have just gone out for Plantation, and Woodmont’s North course.

Lastly, are the trophies that we’ve done in the last week. Notice how different each can be. The first two are for Rock Creek Cattle Company.

These two are for Oak Hills CC overall champions and flight winners.

Driving Range Accessories Summer 2016

Hi, everyone. No matter how much more time is left in your season, there’s still time to ‘wow’ your members.

First on the blog, are the bag stands that we did for Wolf Creek.

Next, are Riverside’s club cleaning stations. These units have handles on either side so that you can attach your own brush onto for the cleanest experience. Inside the stations are grates to help with the cleaning process.

To help with pace of play, we made these driving range clocks for Rolling Hills, Stone Briar & The Cliffs.

Need a place for your putters? Here’s a twisted metal putter stand with logo.

Signs that will look good on your course:

For signs, let’s start with Rockwind’s directional signs. Here’s just a couple of the sign package that we did.

Rockwind also did “Yardage to the Pins” signs that they’ll be mounting to boulders.

Then there’s The Cliffs par 3 tree. These have been a good seller in the last year.

We also made Spring Hill College’s in-ground yardage plates that we used their school colors for the color scheme.

Let’s end today’s blog with tee markers. We love working on tee marker projects because they’re different every time. What do you want your players to tee off next to?

Lastly, the first set for Plantation CC is done, then there’s tee markers for Minnewaska Golf Club and Camp Courant.

Tournament Supplies

We have been tournament central here at RHI with trophies and proximity markers for the North’s courses. Come Fall and it will be the South.

The Haven CC did our standard trophy for their flight winners and an extra detailed trophy for their overall winners.
Here’s Old Hawthorn’s re-order of cowboy trophies.

3. Instead of doing plaques, we mixed it up and did a trophy for Kissing Camels.

4. Tuxedo Club did different themed trophies with us for their summer events while still having their text & logo placement consistent. 5. For Boulder Ridge we did 2 of their summer event trophies, but made each look completely different.

6. Then there’s the rat and light house trophies for Rhode Island CC. It’s a fun way of highlighting their logo.

7. Re-Order for Spanish Oaks.

8. Rogue Media did a completely different look than they did for their Ghost Tree Invitational. It’s polished instead of rustic. This is a great example of how you can use RHI for every event but make each trophy look unique.

9. Next, is Victory Ranch. They used this style for their Family Golf Day and their Club Championship.

10. Sword trophies are just fun & that’s what we did for Champions Run.

11. With this one we used Oakwood’s logo leaf and stood it up. We bent the leaf to give it a look of blowing in the wind, too.

12. It’s pig roast trophies for LedgeRock!

13. Why not give plaques for some of your events? Here’s what The Cliffs and Spencer G&CC did to get your creative mind going.

Proximity Markers increase speed of play and give a professional look to your tournaments. Here’s a handful that we’ve done lately.

Golf Property Furnishings & Supplies

PRACTICE FACILITY IDEAS

Having a professional looking practice facility is a must in the golf course industry. Range dividers are an inexpensive way to freshen up your driving range. First to show are the range spacers for The National and Ponte Vedra Golf & Resort.

Also, for The National, the crew made 12″x 12″ A-frames for their Closest to the Pin and Longest Drives.

THE GREEN BROOK PROJECT

Having a consistent look with your property furnishings is important to give the best image at your private course. The RHI crew worked with Green Brook Country Club to do just this.

The 1st thing that we concentrated on was their large directional sign .

For their clock sign, we made a hanging clock sign that’s double sided.

Next, are their bag drops that each hold 4 bags per unit.

For the shag bag racks, we went away from the textured gray, and did a navy.

For tournaments, Green Brook has custom proximity markers, tee announcements, and a perpetual trophy.

TOURNAMENT IDEAS

Let’s start with Broadmoor Country Club’s tournament tee markers.

We’re known for our unique trophies for tournament prizes. We got extra creative this month with the 3D awards.

1) Pete Dye’s 3D coal carts on tracks for their flight winners. 2). The Bridges 3D bridge trophies. We etched the stone work on these to make them look as close as possible to their bridge at their course.

HillCrest has an oil derrick on their property, which explains the theme of their trophies. Everyone at RHI hq’s loves these. They turned out better than we could have hoped for and are sure to get an amazing response from the winners.

We have more trophies to show: 1) Wolf Creek’s overall champion trophies that we engraved their trees into the base. 2). Radley Run’s Revolution Flag trophies. 3). The Cliffs at Walnut Cove did plaques with stands for their Men’s Member-Guest awards.

Then there’s Detroit Country Club who we made trophies out of their logo. TPC Riverbend has given away crystal the last 14 years, but this year they gave dimensional skyline trophies (Big Easy skyline). These trophies will be something extra special for the winners.

Oakwood Country Club did leaf trophies for their Knickerbocker event and 3D acorn trophies for their Acorn Classic. Notice how we can make very different looking trophies so that each tournament can have it’s own identity.

Tournament Prize Ideas

Can’t think of what to give your winners? How about a canoe or a VW bus? Really! Let your imagination run wild and create a unique trophy for next golf tournament!

First up is the the VW bus that we build for The Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe. We made red, green, blue and purple buses for their Ladies’ event.

The River Club did 3D canoes for the overall champions and paddles for their flight winners.

Below are the dimensional oak tree trophies for Champions Run.

Next, are the Member-Member trophies for Boulder Ridge and the derby trophies for Kissing Camels.

TEE MARKERS

We got to use the sparkle burgundy powder for Manhattan Woods’ tournament tee markers. The other event tee maker that we did is for Mountain Brook’s hammerhead shark tee markers.

Then there’s the A-frame tee markers for the Idaho Golf Association.

For the driving range we have the range dividers for Victory Ranch and Druid Hill’s amenities cart.

Here’s Colonial Country Club’s divot bottle rack. This is the deluxe version because it’s double sided for maximum capacity.

Lastly, is Union League’s scorecard box.

Taking Trophy Orders

TOURNAMENT GIVE-AWAYS

You can tell that we’ve been extremely busy with tournament awards last May. Here’s a run down on the custom trophies that built for the clubs’ special events. 1. Skagit. 2. Merion’s wicker baskets. 3. Roaring Fork’s fish trophies. 4. Whipporwill’s steam shovel trophies.

For the Big Sky Bird & Birdie, we did these 2 trophies that a little different from each other, but it ties in together with coloring and base shape.

For Rib Crib’s event, we did several smaller awards that will fit perfectly on the winners’ desk of mantle. Bigger isn’t always better in this case..

Lastly, we have Westchesters’ ladies’ barn trophies. The bases are designed to resemble like barn wood. Also, notice the new engraving that we are doing.

COURSE SIGNAGE

Looking for signs for your course? We make any and every kind that you can think of with your club colors and logo.

First up today are the custom par 3 signs for White Beeches and The Cliffs at Valley. Each of these has slide-in numbers and their own unique look.

THE DRIVING RANGE

The other signs that went out were the driving range signs for The Alamo and Druid Hills. Each of these signs was built based on what the clubs needed.

Next, are the range dividers that went out again for Sycamore Hills.

Here’s the bag stands that we modified the design for Forest Highlands to accommodate their players’ water bottles.

And then Happy Hollow’s bag stands that we cut their logo out on the front panels. The powder coat on this is BR47, which is the powder coat version of rust.

TEE MARKERS

For tee markers, we did A-frame tee markers for Black Bull. These will be easy to store and to see from the cart path.

Then there’s the tournament tee markers that we did for Byron Electric’s event.

STARTER’S PODIUMS

Colonial Country Club is getting their starter’s podium delivered soon. We custom built it for them with the slanted & hinged top, and back storage space.

Tournament Accessories

We’re excited to work with you on ways to make your tournaments memorable. First up, are the trophy projects that we have worked on. 1. Lighthouse perpetual trophy for Vineyard Golf Club. This trophy was modeled after one their local lighthouses to give the trophy that extra-custom look.

Next, are the overall and flight winner trophies for Sioux Falls and Lake Oconee.

Kissing Camels had us make their signature plaques and then the extra-fun derby trophies.

Another detail for tournaments are the custom proximity markers and contest a-frames. 1) Rhode Island CC 2) Royal Melbourne CC 3) Forest Creek GC

We have tournament tee markers and tee markers for every-day-use. 1) JGA of Broward Country 2) Northwood G tee markers 3) Tehama’s re-order of tee markers

Tournament name signs are something that we’re asked for once in awhile. Here’s the one we did for the Club at 12 Oaks.

The crew also shipped out this week HillCrest’s scorecard boxes on posts (logo is on top of lid). These boxes are easy to maintain with a towel, or to battle hard water stains use Krud Cutter wipes to give them a quick and fresh look!

Troon Country Club’s tee sign is on it’s way. Didn’t it turn out nice? These are made out of aluminum, and last much longer than granite at price that you want to pay!

For the range, the crew shipped quite a bit this week. Let’s start with range dividers & teaching dividers. These are 36″ long and made out of weather-friendly aluminum. Easy to stack and store. 1) TGC 2) Druid Hills 3) Pinewood

Here’s another 1/2 barrel ball baskets that we did for Forest Highlands in BR47 powder coat. It’s a clean look!

For driving range signs, we made these for The Golf Club of Tennessee.

Lastly, we have to share the shag bag rack that we made.

Driving Range Supplies

The crew will work hard to create high-quality and custom range accessories that will make your practice facility look its best. The first necessity are bag stands. Below are the new stands that we made for Bloomfield in copper vein powder coat.

Baton Rouge chose the upright twisted metal style in hunter green powder coat with a textured finish.

Golf Club Cleaners can give a consistent look with your bag stands with logo and colors. The firs 2 photos are BlackHawks’ club cleaning station and club wash bucket. The 3rd photo is Citrus Club’s cleaning station.

For Driving Range Signs, we did a colorful one for Southern California Golf Academy.

Next are the putting green flagsticks for Reynold’s Lake Oconee. We made these each in their own color.

I climbed on the ladder for this photo; Rhode Island CC’s scorecard box on post in the watertight version.

Driving Range Boxes can be personalized for your needs and you can rearrange the dividers in the design if needed. Below is the one that we made for Troon CC, which they’re using for a water bucket, towels, and trinkets.

Golf Property Furnishings need to be of high-quality so that they can last many years on the course looking nice. Like with any of our products, we create that durability and longevity with our custom podiums. Blackhawk ordered a small version (the guys shipped it before I could take a photo..) and the large version (below).

Trash Can Enclosures are a necessity on the course, and below is a lid version for LegacyRidge.

Here are the tee markers that we made for Kapalua and Rolling Hills. Kapalua needed taller tee markers because of the elevation at their course can make it tricky to see the markers. That wasn’t the case for RH, so a different style was chosen for their needs.

Lastly, are the proximity markers that we made for Phoenixville and Mira Vista.

Golf Tournament Prize Ideas

Do it right and players will get excited about the winning trophies. With our design & sales team, you can create a signature trophy. Let’s start the blog with tournament trophies and then go to plaques!

We worked with the Head Professional at LedgeRock GC for his hosting tournament and Junior Invitational.

Next, are the trophies for Desert Mountain’s tournaments. For their Mountain Magic award (2nd photo) notice the thickness of steel used for the feather and the etching that our craftsman did. We also etched on the base a falcon (each flight had an identifying bird).

Then there’s Toscana’s bear trophies for their flight winners and The Cliffs’ Husband-Wife awards.

The RHI Crew also shipped out the re-orders for St. James’ Ladies Invitational & Ponte Vedra’s Member-Guest.

Shootout Trophies are beginning to be one of our top sellers with tournament awards. We usually do a black/gray base, but Gailardia decided to go rustic with this and it turned out nice!

Can’t forget the oak trees for Spanish Oaks or the bell tower trophies for The Bridges. This is the time of the year that awards are non-stop!

SECTION 2 of today’s blog are plaques for individual flight winners or overall champions. Plaques can be intricate, or simpler for the smaller tournaments. The first 2 are the more detailed for The Cliffs and Tupelo.

The Children’s Foundation plaques are an example of colorful and fun plaques that are under $100.
