First Tee Carts

The Amenity Carts all started with the then director of golf at Isleworth a few years ago. We thought that it was just going to be a one-off piece, but once it posted on our website, everyone else wanted it..

Napa Valley had a new concept, instead of the insulated coolers on the cart like what we usually make, their pro wanted a waste can. It’s classy and a necessity for the range.

Here’s the dividers for their trinkets. The rest of the bed is empty for storage.

Next, is the Yardage Tree that we made for Spanish Oak’s driving range. This photo is actually taken 3 years after we made the sign. Doesn’t it look nice? #Durability #RHIGolf

Here’s another example of how RHI products look good for years to come. The PGA West sign is 6 years old.

For driving range bag stands, we have the twisted A-frame bag stand for Indian Hills. The color that you see is called Copper Vein, which is our thickest and most durable powder coat. It’s a two coat process that’s a warm brown with black speckles (it’s beautiful).

It was nice doing a full colored logo for The Powder Horn’s starter’s podium. We were really able to showcase their logo on this piece.

We made the full order for Nemacolin Resorts the other day. These tee markers are an example of a cutout logo with a colored plate underneath the logo. Through the years, they’re going to love how durable these are.

Here’s the Dunesgrass tee marker. This style is our ‘upright tee marker’ and it’s one of the easiest styles to touch up. It’s also one of the most ordered tee markers.

The tee marker for Golf Club of Tennesse is on it’s way to them. We bumped up the thickness on these, so there’s no bending of that flag. Again durability is our #1 concern in all of our custom products.

These trophies went out the door last week. Here’s the perpetual for Jonathan’s Island and one of the Duel in the Desert awards for Anthem.

Tee Markers

CUSTOM TEE MARKERS

Northern courses are already getting their tee markers ordered so that they’re that much closer to be ready to an amazing open in Spring 2017. For the Southern courses, the RHI crew is working hard to deliver your tee markers quickly.

First up is a tee marker built for Nemacolin Woodlands Resort course (Sheperd’s Rock). This type of tee marker is a favorite, and gives a beautiful presentation. This style also gives room for the logo and course name on the back.

Sao Fernando, Drumlins CC and Castiglion del Bosco, Club at Gray’s Crossing chose our upright tee markers which are the #1 seller and as you can see can have a complex logo or a simplistic logo.

For the driving range we have a hanging driving range sign for Piedmont Driving Club. Instead of chain, we are now using carbines to attach the signs to the frame for a more durable experience.

We make 20″x 20″ A-frame range clocks, which give a beautiful and consistent look to your range. The signs are made to last the next 5+ years, and the weather resistent clocks are easy and inexpensive to replace as needed.

Here’s the aluminum A-frame range dividers that the RHI Crew made recently. As you can see, courses can choose from their icon logo or their course name for another branding opportunity.

Next to share is the club cleaning station that we made for Vasari and the ball bucket for The Golf Club at Lansdowne.

Last for the range, is the wine barrel targets for St. James Plantation. They chose to incorporate their club color green into these.

For awards, we made a very detailed snake plaque for Desert Mountain.

Yardage Signs

RHI Golf makes quality yardage signs that are important for presentation on your range.

The crew can make 6′ buffalo targets like we did for one of the Discovery courses; Gozzer Ranch. Or we can go simplistic & classy like we did for the Peninsula. The yardage signs are also incredibly affordable, which is always a plus.

For driving range signs, the crew can make the flags interchangeable so that it gives you the utmost flexibility.

Then we did the range layout signs for Forest Highlands by using their layout sketch as reference.

We made a couple of starter’s boxes this week as well as scorecard boxes. Here’s the ones that we did for Peninsula and La Quinta. These are made of 1/8″ aluminum and are a great looking box that is more durable than anything else on the market.

The last photo that was taken of this style of podium was back when the guys use to take photos in the warehouse. Needless to say, I was excited to use the fancy camera on it.

For Sonoma, we made cart signs and a Staff Only sign. The colors tie in well together.

For Spanish Oaks, the crew made No Cart Signs and other informational signage.

We also made directional signs for The Creek at Qualchan GC & a local course, Circling Raven.

Saratoga National and Lexus teamed up for bag stands and broken tee boxes. These really turned out nice.

Tee Markers

First tee marker is for Shoshone CC who say that the moose are running off with their tee markers. It’s a first that we’ve heard of.

Below are tee markers for Woodmont’s South Course.

Does the tiger look familiar? It’s modeled after Tiger Woods’ head cover for the tiger tees at his U.S. Course Blue Jack National.

Below are tee markers for Silver Putter tournament and a private course.

Proximity Markers speed up the pace of play and give a professional presentation. 1. Course at Wente Vineyards. 2. Black Wolf Run. 3. DL

Fall/Winter trophies are in full swing: 1. Idle Hour’s. 2. Ponderosa Shootout for Bend G&CC.

Next, is the Captain’s Award for Black Bear Tavern, and the dusty boot for Shooting Star.

For perpetuals, we made a plaque for Jimmie Austin GC, and a trophy for Marine Memorial GC.

Marine Memorial LOVED their perpetual and surpassed their expectations that they had at time of order.

Lastly, we have ‘cattle brands’ for Spanish Oaks. The brands are something fun and unique to give winners. It’s also easy for the champions to store on a mantle, hooked on a wall or rested against a wall.

Golf Driving Range Equipment & Range Accessories

We have a few driving range projects that we’ve been working on, & want to share. Range accessories are an RHI specialty.

VICTORY RANCH PROJECT

Victory Ranch has a consistent and clean look for their range with matching bag stands, range dividers, and amenities tray for their range cart (cart not pictured). We also made 20 Gal. trash can enclosures with the same coloring and logo style.

TRINITY FOREST PROJECT

This is a new course in Dallas, Texas that has a modern look. We’re often asked for rustic like the Victory Ranch order, but then we get requests that are opposite.

We make insulated coolers and cooler boxes at various sizes. This Keystone Ranch cooler box is our largest; 120 qt.

For Manchester (NH), we made a custom range box that a spot for their divot bottles, and a small shoe cleaning station.

The Course Wente Vineyards is ready for their bag stands and range dividers. These are going to look amazing on their range.

Here’s also the range divider that we did for Entrada and the Sand & Seed Rack for Turning Stone.

We did several hanging signs for Lakewood CC of Dallas, Texas. Here’s one of them.

A few courses have asked for easels that they use as leader boards with a plasma tv. These are also used to display signs/promo signs.

These are the tee markers that have just gone out for Plantation, and Woodmont’s North course.

Lastly, are the trophies that we’ve done in the last week. Notice how different each can be. The first two are for Rock Creek Cattle Company.

These two are for Oak Hills CC overall champions and flight winners.

Tournament Supplies

We have been tournament central here at RHI with trophies and proximity markers for the North’s courses. Come Fall and it will be the South.

The Haven CC did our standard trophy for their flight winners and an extra detailed trophy for their overall winners.
Here’s Old Hawthorn’s re-order of cowboy trophies.

3. Instead of doing plaques, we mixed it up and did a trophy for Kissing Camels.

4. Tuxedo Club did different themed trophies with us for their summer events while still having their text & logo placement consistent. 5. For Boulder Ridge we did 2 of their summer event trophies, but made each look completely different.

6. Then there’s the rat and light house trophies for Rhode Island CC. It’s a fun way of highlighting their logo.

7. Re-Order for Spanish Oaks.

8. Rogue Media did a completely different look than they did for their Ghost Tree Invitational. It’s polished instead of rustic. This is a great example of how you can use RHI for every event but make each trophy look unique.

9. Next, is Victory Ranch. They used this style for their Family Golf Day and their Club Championship.

10. Sword trophies are just fun & that’s what we did for Champions Run.

11. With this one we used Oakwood’s logo leaf and stood it up. We bent the leaf to give it a look of blowing in the wind, too.

12. It’s pig roast trophies for LedgeRock!

Golf Property Furnishings & Supplies

PRACTICE FACILITY IDEAS

Having a professional looking practice facility is a must in the golf course industry. Range dividers are an inexpensive way to freshen up your driving range. First to show are the range spacers for The National and Ponte Vedra Golf & Resort.

Also, for The National, the crew made 12″x 12″ A-frames for their Closest to the Pin and Longest Drives.

THE GREEN BROOK PROJECT

Having a consistent look with your property furnishings is important to give the best image at your private course. The RHI crew worked with Green Brook Country Club to do just this.

The 1st thing that we concentrated on was their large directional sign .

For their clock sign, we made a hanging clock sign that’s double sided.

Next, are their bag drops that each hold 4 bags per unit.

For the shag bag racks, we went away from the textured gray, and did a navy.

For tournaments, Green Brook has custom proximity markers, tee announcements, and a perpetual trophy.

TOURNAMENT IDEAS

Let’s start with Broadmoor Country Club’s tournament tee markers.

We’re known for our unique trophies for tournament prizes. We got extra creative this month with the 3D awards.

1) Pete Dye’s 3D coal carts on tracks for their flight winners. 2). The Bridges 3D bridge trophies. We etched the stone work on these to make them look as close as possible to their bridge at their course.

HillCrest has an oil derrick on their property, which explains the theme of their trophies. Everyone at RHI hq’s loves these. They turned out better than we could have hoped for and are sure to get an amazing response from the winners.

We have more trophies to show: 1) Wolf Creek’s overall champion trophies that we engraved their trees into the base. 2). Radley Run’s Revolution Flag trophies. 3). The Cliffs at Walnut Cove did plaques with stands for their Men’s Member-Guest awards.

Then there’s Detroit Country Club who we made trophies out of their logo. TPC Riverbend has given away crystal the last 14 years, but this year they gave dimensional skyline trophies (Big Easy skyline). These trophies will be something extra special for the winners.

Oakwood Country Club did leaf trophies for their Knickerbocker event and 3D acorn trophies for their Acorn Classic. Notice how we can make very different looking trophies so that each tournament can have it’s own identity.

Tournament Prize Ideas

Can’t think of what to give your winners? How about a canoe or a VW bus? Really! Let your imagination run wild and create a unique trophy for next golf tournament!

First up is the the VW bus that we build for The Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe. We made red, green, blue and purple buses for their Ladies’ event.

The River Club did 3D canoes for the overall champions and paddles for their flight winners.

Below are the dimensional oak tree trophies for Champions Run.

Next, are the Member-Member trophies for Boulder Ridge and the derby trophies for Kissing Camels.

TEE MARKERS

We got to use the sparkle burgundy powder for Manhattan Woods’ tournament tee markers. The other event tee maker that we did is for Mountain Brook’s hammerhead shark tee markers.
