Custom Golf Course Accessories
by Joy Ball
Summer is finally right around the corner and it’s obviously tournament season. I think everything I have to show this week is tournament related.
First up are a series of awards for a tournament sponsored by The Rib Crib (drool…). They did plaques for sponsors, mini-games like closest to the pin, and 2nd-4th place. First place winners got the small trophy, and they did one large trophy for the event Title Sponsor. We’ve been wandering around the shop just thinking “mmmm… Rib Crib….”
Then we did another set of these great awards for The Gleason Project charity event at Black Rock. They were a lot of fun this year, and instead of Black/White like we did last time they wanted Steve’s New Orleans Saints colors of Black and Gold.
The River Course had us do some of our custom ‘stumped’ trophies for their Men’s Inviational…
Spurwing in Boise wanted us to update their awards from last year.
The New Jersey and Philadelphia chapters of the PGA have an annual event called The Turnpike Matches. They had us create this perpetual award for their winners.
We had our usual assortment of Proximity Markers, Hole Announcement Signs, etc. which will greatly speed up your tournament – both during and after play.
And we did another set of Tournament tee markers for Sterling Bank.
Hope everyone’s events go smoothly and are a lot of fun!

We’re still running at full throttle, and here are some of things that went out this week. We’re doing a ton of trophies right now as everyone gets ready for their tournament season. Here’s a traveling cup to be used for the “Civil War” rivalry between Osage National and Old Kinderhook.
Also working on on-course signage. Here are some signs with interchangeable message plates for Wykagyl. There are multiple plates that hang on the same sign so that you can change the message from, for example, “Palm Beach Course” to “Course Closed”. We’ve used this same concept for Valet Open/Closed, Pin Location Signs, etc.
These are some Directional Signs for around the property at Whitemarsh. They plan to mount these onto some existing posts.
Some additional tee markers for Sterling Bank and putting green miniflags for Spurwing in Boise.
We’ve been extremley fortuante to have been chosen by Castle Pines to help them makeover their practice facility. Lots of different fixtures, furniture, etc., here are some from the first ‘wave’. We’ll be working on these for a few weeks yet.
Garbage Can Enclosures:
An Amenities station. There are several of these. They can be used for towels/sand and seed bottles, a catering/water station, etc. They can be built on a stationary stand or on rolling casters.
These are our first benches. Now I want one for my backyard!
Have a great Memorial Day weekend! We’re very thankful for those who have sacrificed so that we can all be free and happy!

It’s crazy, but Eastern Washington and North Idaho are currently tied with Pheonix, AZ as the hottest spot in the entire country. It’s currently in mid-80’s which is unseasonably hot for around here this time of year. Feels like summer, but I’m sure it’s only temporary.
For as crazy busy as we’ve been the last few weeks, I don’t have very many pictures to put up. I’m going to blame it on the idea that the guys have been too busy to stop and take pictures, and not that I forgot to charge the camera battery…
First up, a perpetual trophy for the “Discovery Cup” tournament at the Madison Club. The big star on top turned out amazing!
Then we have a couple different tournament contest items. Some proximity markers for The Dutch, and some cool two-colored A-frame announcement signs for Greate Bay. The cattails are gold, and the rest of the logo is green.
Finally, a set of tee markers for Carmel Valley Ranch. The colors are unusual, but I like it. At least it’s not just red, black and blue.
Have a great weekend!

Not sure what it is, but I have an almost uncontrollable urge to start hurling things around the shop like Donkey Kong. Oh yeah, I know what it is. These awesome barrell trophies that we just finished up for The Cliffs. Solid steel with a natural rust finish and hammered metal bands, these things turned out amazing!
Eagle Bend ordered some custom range spacers for between the stalls on their practice facility and a couple of large boxes that they can put bottle water in. These boxes are durable aluminum – so they won’t rust – and watertight. There is a drain plug on the side for when you need it.
Olympia Country Club ordered a full set of these tee markers. Thanks!
These yardage signs are for the Par 3 holes at LakeRidge. They can add numbers with the day’s yardages to really speed up play.
Finally, we have these proximity markers for Enger Park.
It’s Friday, with the best weather we’ve had yet this year. Plenty more to see next week! Have a great weekend!

It’s been an incredible spring, and I haven’t been able to update things as often as I should. A lot of stuff in process, but here’s a few of the things we’ve finished and shipped lately. Lot’s of awards, trophies and tournament accessories like proximity markers and contest signs.
First up are some Tee Markers and some unique gifts/awards for a charity golf event hosted by Clint Eastwood. They did a full set of event tee markers, and these great custom hitch plugs as awards. Neat and very original idea!
These trophies and awards for the Gallery Invitational turned out great. Very cool contrast between rust/textured base and the gloss black and silver…
Here’s a perpetual award plaque for our friend Randy Henry!
Proximity markers and contest announcement signs for the tee box. These are a great way to speed up tournament play and operations.
A Teaching Area Only sign for the Practice Range:
And the top for one of our bag drops. They plan to mount this onto some existing posts. We can do this top portion, or a full bag drop with a lower rack and durable mesh screen.
Thanks for your support, lots more to come in the next couple weeks!

It’s been an incredibly busy couple weeks, thank you for making the first part of this year great! Wanted to throw some pictures up of all of the stuff we’ve been working on lately. Lots of great trophies and other tournament accessories. Let us know if you see anything you’d like for your own course!
Let’s start off with three words….
“Great White Buffalo”
These great range targets are 6′ wide and almost 4′ tall. They’re for Huntsman Springs in Driggs, Idaho, you’ll see some other great stuff for them by the time we’re done…
“Great White Buffalo”
Now let’s get back to trophies and awards, the next three here are each for different themed tournaments at Huntsman Springs:
Then several tournament awards for The Gallery:
Here’s a giant six-plus foot tall trophy for Walt Disney World Golf’s Club of the Year. Each layer can be removed and/or added, kind of like the Stanley Cup!
Here are some great looking trophies for the Madison Club. I don’t mean to brag (well….), but they had a last minute glitch with their other awards maker – we designed and turned these out in less than a week!
Some cool “rock textured” ones for Martis Camp
And finally some awards for the Doc Cover Golf Classic charity event
Here are a few tee markers we finished for the Coeur d’Alene Public and Shorehaven
Some custom amenities/scorecard and towel boxes for Muttontown, and a podium for Huntsman Springs
A bunch of different proximity markers:
Some practice range “teaching area” signs for the Gallery:
And last, but not least, inground yardage markers for Gozzer Ranch:
Have a great weekend!

Been a little while since I’ve posted some of the projects we’ve been working on, I’ve been busy getting our new brochure put together and our new stock item online store up and running…
First up are these tee markers that we did for Ball State University. These were a lot of fun and turned out great!
Next were a bunch of different Proximity Markers and KP signs (or Tee Announcements, whatever you want to call them :) )
Darien CC:
Floridian:
The Cliffs:
And some great new ones (including the new-style closest to the pin Proximity Marker) for Ocean Reef Club
We had a request for a “shadow box” type presentation for a hole in one award. There were places for the lucky ball, the scorecard, and a photo…
Some trophies for the Tumble Creek Cup:
New Tee Markers for Shorehaven…
Some replacement signs to go on the tee signs at Quintero out of polished Stainless Steel – will look great for a long time!
And finally new Tee Monument signs for Southern Dunes, which is owned by the Ak-Chin nation of Native Americans. Each sign contains the yardage to the hole from the tee box and other information, but then also the Ak-Chin name for the hole, as well as a translation into English. These signs were a lot of fun! They then took each of these signs and mounted them on custom brick/masonry walls and planter beds that they added at each hole. I’m sure they look amazing.
I guess that’s everything for now. There’s a lot of new stuff in progress that I hope we’ll get at least one more post up yet this year!
