Custom Golf Course Accessories
by Joy Ball
Hi. The RHI Production Crew has been busy, and I have a lot to share with you. Here’s some ideas that will get your creative thoughts going!
Pin Location Signs (with removable numbers) for Superstition Mountain & Manchester CC.
For Range Accessories, we have a hanging Range Layout Sign for Blue Jack National & a Range Yardage Sign for Union League.
Needing storage on the range? This is what Wannamoisett designed with us; custom Range/Amenity Box. These amenity boxes are fully customizable.
Here are the range baskets that we did for Iron Horse Golf Club.
Next, we made twisted metal bag stands for Hill Crest CC and a Sand & Seed Rack for Verrado.
Proximity Markers increase the speed of play and are another opportunity for the course to look professional and consistent with their branding. They’re also easy to use and to keep looking nice.
Thinking of getting all new tee markers that won’t break the budget? We have durable and creative tee markers at prices that just can’t be beat! First, are IGA’s A-frame tee markers. They wanted these to be easily stacked/transported and chose this option. Next, is Pepperdine’s tournament tee markers and then North Hills CC had us make their in-ground family tees.
We make garbage can enclosures that go underground or stand above ground. Below are Blue Jack National’s and Tumble Creeks’ garbage can enclosures.
We love to make creative trophies for your tournaments that your winners will love. Try something different this year.

THE BLUE JACK NATIONAL PROJECT
We are excited to have built course accessories for Tiger Woods’ first U.S. Course, Blue Jack National in Houston, Texas. We worked closely with Blue Jack National’s team to create these products that their players will love for years to come.
1st, is their starter podium that has a stained log attached to a steel pipe base that our crew made to look like it has tree roots coming out. The bark texture is actually weld slag that gives the pipe a tree look. 2nd, is a custom drink holder that has a 3D acorn logo for on the course.
Below are the custom wooden benches that turned out beautiful. We got the wood from a local forest, stained and branded the wood for an amazing look. Notice how their acorn logo was incorporated in the legs of the benches; it’s all about the details..
For their driving range, Blue Jack chose hinged A-frame yardage targets, twisted metal A-frame bag stands and logo’d range dividers.
Next, are their tee markers and green medallions.
Blue Jack National’s in-ground yardage markers were done in 2 different styles. The red/white markers are shaped like their practice grounds, and the bronze colored yardage markers have raised numbers and borders are for the golf course.
Happy New Year’s and we look forward to working with you in 2016! See you at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, FL January 27th-29th. BOOTH 3400 in New Product Zone! We will be featuring our new product line of INSULATED COOLERS!

Logo proximity markers give a professional look to your tournaments. Pair them with a-frames on the tee box that announce the contest for a consistent look.
For tournament trophies we have Idle Hour’s moose cup trophies, which were inspired by the Chevy Chase movie ‘Christmas Vacation’. These cups are removable and are perfect for their ‘Eggnog Invitation.’ Next, we have trophies for Hidden Valley, & Fieldstone.
RHI makes any kind of plaque that you need. First, Troon Country Club’s Course Records, Osage National, Eagle Springs & Southern Dunes’ ‘Associate of the Month’ Plaque.
For signs, we have Rockwind’s bag drop & directional sign, as well as Carmel Valley’s kitchen sign.
Sonoma has their ‘Members Only’ sign and shag bag rack on their way.
The tee markers below are re-orders for Towson and Kapalua.

It’s planning season for the golf pros of the North, & RHI has accessory photos to give you inspiration for your next project. We have creative tee markers, driving range ideas and a couple of trophies to share today.
1st: Have fun and be creative with your tee markers. We make these affordable so that it won’t break the budget, and you can order spares. 1) San Jose CC. 2) Carmel Valley Ranch. 3) Salisbury. 4&5) 2 of the 5 sets for Prestonwood. Players can easily see these from different angles & from the golf carts. 6) 2 of the sets for Cedars at Dungeness. They chose metal colors for something different.
2nd: For driving range accessories, we built bag stands, tee holders, & range targets for Citrus Club. Don’t these look nice?!
Below is one of the driving range ball pyramids for Encanterra. These hold 140 balls.
For Waccabuc, we have a shag bag rack that was modified to hold range bags and a hanging driving range sign.
Lastly, is a skeet shooting trophy for The Cliffs at Riverbend and then a perpetual trophy for the Phoenix Police Department golf tournament. The indentation that you see is actually where a trophy cup will sit.

Think past the plastic ball tee markers or the branded driftwood, and explore custom tee markers made out of durable aluminum that are given a beautiful powder coat finish. The RHI crew can build logo tee markers as simple or intricate as you need, and hit almost any budget. 1. North Fork 2. Olde Barnstable 3. Waccabuc
RHI’s in-ground yardage plates are built custom with your color/design choices. We build them with welded stakes that go into the ground deep enough that lawn mowers can go over these safely. 1. Hidden Valley. 2. Crane Creek.
For the driving range, we have Wachesaw’s bag stands that have smooth round tube. These are one of the easiest-to-move bag stands (I liked that while moving them around for photos) that we make, and are just beautiful in the copper-vein textured finish. Then we have Sahalee’s teaching signs for their practice area.
Next, is a golf course directional sign for Desert Canyon and putting green flagsticks for Sahalee.
For tournament prize ideas, check out the below golf trophies that we built this week. 1. Toscana’s re-order of the Toscana Cup. 2. Union League’s 3 layer elephant. This is a good example of how 3D doesn’t have to be from casted molds that cost way too much. We used 3 layers of metal to give this elephant a dimensional look at an unbeatable price. It’s hard to tell in a photo, but up-close you’ll see the thickness and how it appears to be walking on the trophy base.
Lastly, the RHI crew made whisky barrel awards for Almaden’s champions and small half-barrel awards for their flight winners.

First up, let’s give a ‘shout out’ to RHI’s CEO & founder, Reid Hatley. Reid just advanced to the Round of 32 by knocking off the No. 4 Seed in match play at the USGA Mid-Amateur National Tournament in Vero Beach, Fla.
Our first ‘share’ are golf club scrubbers for the driving range for Wachesaw & Hasentree. These give the driving range a professional look. Pick your color and add your logo for a truly custom look!
Next, is a custom broken tee box for Entrada’s driving range that serves it purpose while looking classy. Then we have a driving range target in the shape of a pheasant for Legacy Ridge.
Below is a ball pyramid tray that we made twice for Wachesaw (the first time these burned in our warehouse fire). These trays will look great on their driving range!
The tournament prizes that your winning players leave with are lasting memories of playing at your course. That makes it especially important to give awards that look good, and are special to them & your course. Awards by RHI Golf will do just that. Northwood’s Oak Tree Invitational will be giving out nice looking oak tree trophies. Notice the detail that the water jet machine cut into the steel. Also, the base starts as a piece of 8″ pipe. The bark texture is actually weld slag. We joke that it takes a lot of talent to weld that poorly.
The players at Catawba’s 2014 Fall Classic liked their trophies so much that we have a 2015 re-order.
Same thing happened with Lakes at Castle Hills’ “Quest for the Grail”, and St. James’ “Cattail Classic”. For St. James, we did these 3D cattails for the ladies’ in the spring, which were well-received, so we are doing them for the men, too.
It is October, so it’s fitting to have an Oktoberfest beer trophy. Here’s one that we modeled after Ledge Rock’s design vision.
Below are tomahawk trophies for The Cliffs at Keowee Falls. It was cool to have a real tomahawk piece pipe to incorporate into a trophy. The guys were surprised when I walked in the shop with a Native American piece pipe!
As we start to get back into full production mode soon, you will be seeing lots more photos!
