Here are a few of the things we have in the shop this week.
First up is an award we did for Sterling Bank. This is the second year that they’ve had us build award plaques and trophies for their customer appreciation program.
Then we did a another bunch of signage for La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs. This time it was for their concession stand/snack bar area. Signs include directional signs to the stand, waterproof menu cases (one that hangs on the wall, and one that mounts on a pole which they’ll have on the tee box of the 9th hole), and a large sign for the stand itself.
We did a set of proximity markers and matching Closest to the Pin signs for Wingpoint on the Washington coast.
The Meadow Club ordered another set of trophies for this years Meadowlark Invitational Golf Tournament. This is definitely one of my favorite trophies that we’ve done.
We’re working on some tournament cases and scorecard boxes for Trump National. Will have some final pictures of them next week.

Here is a set of tournament tee markers that we are building for Sterling Bank. They are the corporate sponser for the Pacific Northwest section of the PGA, so these will get used at all of the section events this summer. They are what we call a ‘fish-scaled” aluminum which means the guys take a grinder and custom grind/polish each one. It’s a unique look that turns out great!
In our first year we did a bunch of Point-of-Sale Displays for the guys at Travis Mathew clothing. Then last year we did a different design. This year we are currently finalizing the design on some shoe shelf displays. Anyway, they said that they needed a few extra of the first design, so we knocked those out this week. Hopefully we’ll have some of the shoe displays to show soon, too.
I was going through the camera and found this picture. It was a tournament perpetual trophy that we built for the Interclub Championship for the guys at Troon Golf. It turned out pretty amazing, and the real reason I wanted to post a picture was to just show a comparison between the original rendering, and the final project (sorry, the pic’s a little blurry). Just another example that when you order from RHI, you will always have free renderings showing exactly how your custom design will look before anything gets made.
